The Archaeometry and Materials Characterisation Unit conducts studies of archaeological objects, cultural goods, minerals and other natural, technological and industrial samples through elemental analysis techniques (CHNS, XRF), X-ray tomography, microscopic petrography and scientific imaging (radiography, 3D photography and hyperspectral photography).
