Abstract Submission

Instructions for Abstract Submission

Deadline for abstract submission: CLOSED

Those interested in presenting an oral communication or poster must send the completed communication submission form to the email address: congreso.mocidadect [at] usc.gal (congreso[dot]mocidadect[at]usc[dot]gal).

The technical secretariat will inform you whether your presentation will be oral or in poster format between the 17th and 24th of September. If you do not receive an email within that timeframe, I recommend that you contact the technical secretariat using the email address provided to you.

To find out the day and time of your presentation, you can consult the programme, which will be updated in the Programme section of the Congress website.

Presentation of Communications

Due to the multidisciplinary nature of this congress, we would appreciate if your communication has an informative profile, avoiding, as much as possible, the "more technical" aspects that may hinder understanding for the majority of attendees.

For the oral presentation, any of the four languages accepted at the Congress may be used: Galician, Portuguese, Spanish, or English. The slides and the poster must be written in English.

Prizes will be awarded for the best oral communication and the best poster.

Oral Presentations

  • Presentation Time: 10 minutes.
  • It is mandatory to use the official Congress templates for oral presentations

Pósteres

  • Board Dimensions for Posters: 105 cm x 140 cm (recommended poster size 90 cm wide x 120 cm high).
  • The printing of the posters will be the responsibility of the authors.
  • Presentation Time: 2-3 minutes. Feedback and discussion (at the end of each block).
  • Poster evaluation sessions will be held.
  • The use of the official Congress templates "Poster Template" is mandatory.
  • At the registration desk, authors will be directed to the area where the posters will be exhibited. The organisation will provide the necessary means for them to be affixed to the display panels. Posters must be removed by the authors and should not be taken down before the technical programme of the Congress has concluded, to ensure that all attendees have sufficient time to read them. Posters that are not collected after the conclusion of the Congress will be removed and disposed of.
