Firm in its social commitment, Universidade de Santiago de Compostela considers the Grant programme for candidates from conflict zones a priority

This programme, in operation since the 2016-2017 academic year, provides 12-month grants to undergraduate, master's and doctoral students who hold refugees status in Spain, temporary protection status in Spain, certification of refugee status issued by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), or who come from conflict zones.


The grants include full coverage of tuition fees for official degree programmes at USC, attendance at two semester-long courses in Galician or Spanish at Modern Languages Centre, accommodation at  the University Residence Service, and a monthly allowance  to cover living expenses.
