If you wish to study at USC for one or two semesters as an Erasmus+ exchange student, your university must have an agreement with ours and nominate you as a candidate for mobility.

Deadlines
Partner universities must nominate their students for the full academic year and first semester by the 30th of May and 30th of October for the second semester.
To nominate their students, partner universities are required to send an email to erasmus.in [at] usc.gal with the following information: student name and surname, contact email, study field and period of stay.
The nominated students will receive an email with their username and password to access our online application system. The deadline to submit their applications is 15th June for the first semester (autumn) or full academic year and 15th November for the second semester (spring).
Once the home university has sent the nomination of its students, USC will send them an e-mail to start their application with the following instructions: https://www.usc.gal/en/services/area/international/student-mobility/erasmus-incoming-instructions-application
Language of instruction
USC courses are usually taught in Spanish or Galician.
Language requirements
- B1 in Spanish
You have to prove you have a B1 level in Spanish before you arrive, but if you want to learn more while you are in Santiago or Lugo, the Modern Languages Centre of the USC offers Spanish and Galician courses for foreigners.
