The Chemistry Library is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the faculty and has a total area of 852 m² and 222 reading stations. For group work there is a room with 8 workstations and there are also 6 computerised workstations. All its collections have direct access.
The printed collections of the Chemistry Library comprise more than 16,000 volumes of monographs and 665 journal titles.
The main areas of knowledge represented in these collections are:
- Basic sciences (Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Biology).
- Biochemistry.
- History of Chemistry, History of Science.
- General chemistry.
- Analytical chemistry, instrumental techniques.
- Environmental chemistry.
- Physical chemistry.
- Inorganic chemistry, bio-inorganic chemistry.
- Organic chemistry.
In addition, titles of journals and monographs in the aforementioned subject areas, subscribed or acquired either directly by the BUSC or in consortium with the Interuniversity Consortium of the Galician University System (CISUG), can be consulted in electronic format.
