Internal Control Department

The Internal Control Department is responsible for verifying the USC’s compliance with accounting, budgetary and legal requirements in order to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness in the use of the managed resources and contribute to better decision making and to promote improvement initiatives in university management.

The Internal Control Department ensures compliance with accounting and budgetary management standards and procedures; designs control procedures and coordinates their implementation; monitors compliance with the law; collaborates in the preparation of the budget by assuming information coordination tasks; coordinates the implementation of new tools related to accounting and budgetary management; collaborates in the implementation of cost accounting; provides support to external audits and supervises administrative contracting.
