In this area the student will acquire or will undergo a series of generic skills, desirable in any university degree, and specific engineering in general or of the agronomic engineering in particular. Inside the box of powers that was designed for titration, will work the following:
basic skills, general and transversal:
CB6 - possess knowledge and understanding to provide a basis or opportunity to be original in the development and/or implementation of ideas, often in a context of research
CG4 - Ability to apply the knowledge gained to the solution of problems in new situations, analyzing the information from the surrounding environment and synthesizing efficiently to facilitate the decision-making process in companies and professional organizations of the agri-food sector.
CG5 - Ability to transmit their knowledge and findings of their studies or reports, using the media that the communications technology enables and taking into account the knowledge of the target audience.
CT3 - Ability to work individually, with self-critical attitude.
CT7 - Ability to perform a public display of a clear, concise and coherent
CT9 - skill in the handling of information and communication technologies (ICT).
CT10 - Use of bibliographic information and the Internet.
Specific Skills:
CE adequate knowledge and ability to develop and implement proprietary technology in the technologies of geospatial information
The knowledge and skills will be obtained across:
- Explanatory Classes (8 hours) will be given fundamentally by means of oral presentation with power point. (Worked competences CB6)
- The pupils will have to realize an obligatory work in english and present it in class in english too by means power point or similar (1 hour),( Worked competences, CG5, CT7 and CT10)
- They will be given likewise 10 hours of practices by specific software. There will be carried out the application of methodologies and technologies dress in the theory, with application to concrete examples. The software to using will be that of Geomática or SNAP for remote sensing and Metashape and Scann3D for photogrammetry, among others . The pupils will have to realize likewise an individual memory of practices. (Worked competences CG4, GG5, CT3, CT9)
- There will be a visit (3 hours) to the Territorial Research Institute (EIT) Mandatory (Employed Competencies, CE)
- Tutorships in group (3 hours) in that it will be a question of solving the doubts raised in the subject (Worked competences CG4 and CT9)
For the continuous evaluation of the students:
- The to visit to the EIT will take place at the end tar the part of remote sensing.
- The completion of the compulsory group work will be done by completing the part of the photogrammetry subject.
- The delivery of the practice report will be done at the end of the course.
Will be a final examination on the official date set by the center. The realization of the practices is mandatory, as well as the delivery of a final memory of practices, a lack of delivery of the same will be cause of suspense in the subject. The approved practices will be saved for successive calls.
It would likewise be the realization of a work on the topic of the subject to indicate the professor, as well as their oral presentation.
For the calculation of the final note is necessary for the written test and the use of the practice is greater than 4.
Proof or evidence, oral and/or written (30 %): competences CB6 and CE23
Work delivered and/or submitted. (10 % ): competences GG5, CT3, CT7 and CT10.
Visit to the IET (10%): CE competences
Execution of the practices (50 %): competences CG4 and CT9.
The delay in the delivery of the practices according to the due date will be penalised with 10% of the grade.
The described system of evaluation will be the employee in both the opportunity as ordinary in the extraordinary recovery.
Repeating students will have their internships and assignments kept for two consecutive years.
Students who have been granted exemption from any of the teaching activities scheduled in accordance with Instruction 1/2017 of the General Secretariat, may take the course using the material resources provided by the teacher in the virtual campus, helping with the bibliography. basic . The work on the subject will have to be done individually. They will have to carry out the practices independently and deliver the final memory . The visit to the IET will be replaced by a report explaining the work carried out in the field of geomatics by said body.
Regarding plagiarism, article 16 of the Normativa de Avaliación do Rendemento Académico e Revisión de cualificación sobre o plaxio nas probas de la USC will be followed.
The matter consists of 3 credits, it supposes a dead-weight capacity for the pupil of 75 hours.
