The USC Centre for Modern Languages has over 40 years of experience in language teaching for the university community and in organizing tests for language proficiency accreditation. These include not only internal assessments but also official exams in collaboration with prestigious institutions for each language.
Over the years, countless language learners from both the USC community and beyond have studied at the CLM, whether for academic, professional, or simply out of personal interest. Survey results from language courses at the CLM have consistently shown high levels of appreciation for the training provided over the years, with particular emphasis on the high regard for the quality of the teaching staff.
The CLM was one of the first university language centers to adapt to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
It is, in addition, an associate member of the Asociación de Centros de Lenguas en la Enseñanza Superior (ACLES) and the Confederation of Language Centres in Europe (CERCLES) both of which are focused on encouraging and spreading the use of languages within higher education institutions.
