In order to begin studies in bachelor's degree programmes, the interested party must pre-enrol within the established deadlines and following the established procedure.
For admission to undergraduate studies at university centres, the public universities that make up the Galician university system form a single district and the powers relating to admission procedures, dates of completion, weighting criteria and the scale for the allocation of places are vested in the Inter-University Commission of Galicia (CIUG).
Students wishing to begin official undergraduate studies at the USC must apply for admission or pre-enrolment through the NERTA application, except in exceptional cases, where the application may be made at a LERD (Place for the Delivery and Collection of Documentation), within the deadlines and procedures established by the CIUG.
