    The aim of this double degree is to train graduates in the wide number of professional areas where both fields mutually need each other; beyond the connection between Chemistry and Biology that is implied in Biochemistry.

    Chemistry is a large field that includes the sub-microscopic world of atoms and molecules to the area of materials that we use on a daily basis. It constitutes an essential part of the training of countless scientists and engineers.

  • The Faculty of Chemistry has 12 different sized classrooms, 2 seminar classrooms and 2 computer labs equipped with teaching material. For hands-on training it has a number of laboratories.

    There are also areas equipped for student use:

    • 2 free-access computer rooms.
    • 2 study rooms.

    The Faculty of Biology has 10 different sized general use classrooms. For hands-on training purposes it has 4 laboratories equipped with infrastructures and capacity for 24 people. It has 8 laboratories with specific equipment for hands-on training in various subjects and capacity for 20 students each. It also has a laboratory with equipment and infrastructures for teaching purposes, with capacity for 24 students. There are also three computer classrooms.

    There are areas available for student use:

    • Two computer rooms with free access for students.
    • A room in the library to develop team projects, equipped with computers and Internet access.

    Both learning centres have a library with degree-specific collections and reading places.

    It is also worth highlighting that there is Wi-Fi access from all points of the Faculties buildings.

  • Esta doble titulación tiene por objetivo formar graduados que cubran las múltiples áreas donde los profesionales de ambas ramas se necesitan mutuamente, más allá de la conexión entre Química y Biología que implica a la Bioquímica.

    La Química es una ciencia amplia que abarca desde el mundo submicroscópico de los átomos y las moléculas hasta el ámbito de los materiales que utilizamos de manera cotidiana, constituyendo una parte esencial de la formación de muchos científicos e ingenieros.

  • Mobility

    La movilidad de los/as estudiantes está regulada a través del “Reglamento de intercambios interuniversitarios”. A través de la Oficina de Relaciones Exteriores se gestionan programas de intercambio tanto nacionales (SICUE), como europeos (ERASMUS) y extracomunitarios (intercambios con países de América Latina o países de habla inglesa):
