One of the fundamental needs of the Manager at heritage will be the knowledge of the
(from international to local) legislation that affects the protection of built heritage
at all scales, and the legislative instruments applicable in each case.
On the other hand, here defending intervention on urban and territorial heritage as one
participatory operation, so it will be necessary to justify this idea and show procedures
and methodologies for achieving the objective of citizen participation in the management of their own
heritage.
-Critical knowledge of the legislation specifies at all levels affecting the heritage
architectural, urban and territorial built.
-Critical knowledge of the methodology of citizen participation.
-Preparation for the application of this knowledge in the management of the heritage
architectural, urban and territorial.

CE1 - Provide the critical capabilities needed for professional or research activity in
art, architecture linked with historic and architectural heritage.
CE2 - Provide sufficient knowledge to enter the professional field in the
disciplines taught in the master.
CE3 - Prepare to issue and write architectural and historical reports on
critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of new and complex ideas.
CE4 - Training advice on urban planning.
Classroom activities:
The contents of the first block (issues 1, prof. Carmelo Padron Diaz) will be given during the
six classes of 1.5 hours and the first three of 2 hours, while those of the second block (issues 2,
Prof. Vicente Díaz García) will be made in the remaining three classes of 2 hours. In the first block, the
classes are theoretical, encouraging the participation of students from readings of the
Bibliography and other documents delivered in class; in the second, the classes will be of theory and
practices, conducted a seminar for the application of participatory methodologies.
Self-study:
Students must assimilate the subject matter of the course with the study of the theory and the
contents of this educational project, taught in the classroom.
Work practical I the written test will be indispensable to build complement the
knowledge that this course pursues. To achieve this goal will count with the services of
the library of the school of architecture, supported by others in the University or elsewhere
areas. For certain recommended texts of difficult access, these will become visible in the
section
corresponding to the subject within the virtual campus.
As a place of work and study, the University provides access to the building's architecture the
24 hours a day.
Criteria of evaluation

Criteria of evaluation:
-The student actively attending classes in all its forms.
-The student will demonstrate a mastery of the contents of the first block through a job or
a test (to choose).
-The student will demonstrate their ability to apply the knowledge from the second block through
the seminar to be in class.
Assessment tools in calls ordinary and extraordinary for those who have
attended a minimum of 80 of classes
-Active participation
-An academic work or a test (to choose).
-Seminar.
Instruments of evaluation in the extraordinary announcement:
Complete the unrealized in the regular call, with deliveries I testing

Evaluation systems

The evaluation will be global and continuous. It will include a comprehensive assessment of the work and
student performance in the various aspects of the course throughout this, taking into account
the activities provided for in the same. In this sense, is scored the active participation in
class.
The level of assistance required is at least 80 schedule school, need to be able
the approach of continuous assessment with the assessment of the other essential merits
to obtain the approved end.
1st written test type test. This test is the one corresponding to the first block
pedagogical. It will be held the day fixed in the official schedule of the Center.
1st or academic work. Your rating will be linked to the achievement of this first part
of the course.
2nd development and participation in the seminar on participatory methodologies.
3rd will also be part of the evaluation the active participation in classes.

The final grade of the course is obtained by taking into account all aspects of the same.

-Active support, participation and tutorials: 10
-Test or work (1st part): 55
-Seminar (part 2): 35
Following the Instruction Nº 1/2017 of Secretaría Xeral, students who are exempt from attendance in certain situations will be evaluated with a specific final exam (100%). Exemption from attendance must be authorized in advance by the university.
Nine days of class will be devoted to the first block of topics and three others to the second, organized in
this case as a workshop.
Face to face: 21 hours of tutoring class.
Distance: 45 hours.
Total: 75 hours.
General and specialized libraries. Newspaper archives. Bibliographic electronic resources and other
audiovisual media. The city and territory. Courses and lectures of extension
University that they are relevant to the subject.
Of individual tutorials are aimed at personalizing teaching, as a
mechanism aimed at the formation of the student through their abilities and their
individual needs.
The tutorials will be made based on the architecture of the apartment building of
Architectural construction (prof. Carmelo Padron) and art, city and territory (prof. Vicente
Diaz) after request corresponding quotation.
