Summary
Background: In recent years, vocational training (VT) has been gaining renewed relevance. The new Law for the organization and integration of VT designs a VT system adapted to the labour market and to people, easing lifelong learning. This Master´s thesis studies the VT contribution to lifelong learning of women over 45 years old, a population segment facing significant challenges to re-entering into the labour market. Objective: This work belongs to the research category, and its main objectives are identifying the difficulties women over 45 face in pursuing lifelong learning and analysing VT teachers’ perspective on the new VT system to this type of learning. Method: To reach the first objective, a systematic literature review is performed, reported in accordance with the PRISMA statement. To achieve the second objective, VT teacher´s observations are collected using a questionnaire regarding the current situation of women over 45 in their classrooms. Results: Women over 45 are at a disadvantage compared to men, and it does not seem to be solved by lifelong learning. VT teachers do not perceive the new Organic Law as beneficial for this social group. Conclusions: Access to lifelong learning is neither democratic nor inclusive. Social policies and strategies must be designed to guarantee the relevance of lifelong learning to the equality of all marginalized groups.

Summary
The present study is framed within the research line «interdisciplinary initiatives based on visual expression» and examines the artistic production of Maruja Mallo with the aim of designing a didactic proposal for the 4th year of compulsory secondary education (ESO) that integrates art, history, literature, and values education. Interdisciplinarity is approached through art along two complementary paths: as a tool for analysis and for structuring the proposal, and as the space in which the proposal gains meaning and practical application. The analysis of Maruja Mallo´s work materializes in an editorial project within the school reading plan, focused on the production of “creative books” using the artist as the guiding thread. The results suggest that this proposal may function as a flexible and transferable model, adaptable to different educational and artistic contexts. Likewise, this initiative aspires to contribute to a change in the historical narrative, since without the inclusion of women artist the history of art is not complete.

Summary
In recent decades, social media has become one of the most significant technological and communicative phenomena in contemporary society, playing a particularly fundamental role in the lives of adolescents. This Master's thesis aims to understand the psychosocial and academic effects of social media use on adolescents. To this end, a documentary review of the scientific literature was carried out using the SALSA methodology. This allowed us to describe the positive and negative effects of social media on mental health, emotions and social relationships, as well as its academic impact on secondary school students. The results show that the effects of social media are ambivalent in all areas studied, with negative impacts prevailing. They also show that a comprehensive perspective is required to fully understand this phenomenon. In conclusion, this Master's thesis highlights the need to understand these effects to promote balanced use of social media and guide students in their academic training and personal development.

Summary
We live immersed in a hypervisual culture in which ways of seeing shape power relations. This Master’s Thesis analyses the relevance of the concept of the male gaze in contemporary visual culture consumed by adolescents, from cinema to social media, and proposes an educational intervention aimed at dismantling it. The study is structured in two parts. First, a theoretical framework reviews the genealogy of the gaze, from Mulvey and Berger to Menkes, and examines how technical resources such as lighting and framing perpetuate gender stereotypes and processes of objectification. Second, it presents the design of an educational intervention entitled Desmontando la pantalla, addressed to students of the Higher Vocational Training Programme in Audiovisual Production. Through the DAT methodology (Detect, Analyze, Transform) and Art Thinking strategies, the proposal seeks to equip future professionals with tools to critically analyse images and to create inclusive counter-narratives. The study concludes that integrating ethical competence into technical training is essential to educate professionals capable of transforming the audiovisual industry and, consequently, contributing to a more equal society.

Summary
This study aims to highlight historically overlooked women composers and integrate their repertoire into the teaching of the flute in the second year of professional conservatory studies. Through bibliographic research, repertoire analysis, and the design of a teaching unit based on Anna Amalia of Prussia’s Sonata in F Major, it reveals the limited presence of female composers in Galician conservatories and the need to diversify the curriculum. The proposed unit combines technical and interpretative learning with historical and cultural contextualization, fostering active, meaningful, and critical learning. Additionally, the study emphasizes the link between including women composers and the comprehensive education of students, promoting equity, diversity, and recognition of female contributions to music. Overall, making women composers visible in the classroom is both an act of historical justice and a way to enrich musical education, enhancing creativity, critical thinking, and inclusion.

Summary
This Master’s Thesis examines the pedagogy of care as an approach that places practices of care at the center of the educational field, and more specifically within arts education, viewing the school as a space for social transformation. It reflects on the need to consider meditation and art therapy practices as essential tools for the holistic development of secondary education students. Accordingly, it proposes the design of activities that foster self-awareness, emotional regulation, creativity, and resilience through meditative techniques and art therapy dynamics integrated into everyday teaching practice. The study also offers a critical reflection on the challenges and limitations of their implementation, as well as on their transformative potential to create more inclusive, empathetic classrooms committed to students’ emotional and social well-being. Ultimately, the aim is to place care at the core of education, not only as a value, but as a form of knowledge embodied in concrete practices that transform the way we live and relate to one another.

Summary
This work focuses on the role of social networks in affective-emotional development, aiming to understand the current state of research on the influence of these platforms on emotional, identity, and relational development, particularly among young people. Based on a systematic documentary review conducted according to the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, recent studies were identified and analyzed that address, from a socio-educational and gender perspective, the positive and negative effects of social networks on emotional management, self-esteem, empathy, and identity construction from a socio-educational and gender perspective were located and analyzed. The results of the eight selected studies show a complex and significant impact, characterized by a duality between opportunities for connection and expression and risks such as emotional dysregulation, overexposure, or the reproduction of gender stereotypes. This reality poses a challenge for social education and, particularly, for emotional education, requiring interventions that promote critical digital literacy and healthy emotional management.

Summary
This Master's Thesis aims to introduce key topics in anthropology to 4th-year secondary school students. These topics are the division between nature and culture, the sex and gender system, and cultural diversity, which will be guided by a common cross-cutting issue, that it is language understood as an element that shapes reality. Thus, based on a systematic and critical review, a learning situation adapted to the age of the students is designed and applied in order to re-evaluate anthropology and assert that an anthropological perspective in secondary education is useful and necessary.

Summary
The current media ecosystem, in which advertising formats that are increasingly difficult to recognize continue to emerge, increases vulnerability during adolescence to commercial messages. This research seeks to present a brief snapshot of advertising literacy and its presence in the educational system. To this end, it examines the Galician curriculum for Secondary Education, analyze media consumption data of adolescents in Galicia based on two key studies, and proposes an exercise for Vocational Training students in order to assess their competencies in advertising literacy, as these are individuals who have already completed compulsory schooling. The results reveal a significant gap: while the curriculum is based on traditional media and prioritizes information literacy, young people mostly consume digital media where they often fail to detect advertising.

Key findings include an improves understanding of students’ conceptual frameworks regarding art, along with their consolidation and expansion through an alternative approach to avant-garde movements and the pursuit of complex thinking, which allows them to connect different historical perspectives and history with the present. The materials collected from the students, along with classroom observations, provides the data for this research. The debate format seems particularly well-suited to the proposed objectives, fostering active student participation in the discussion of ideas and the construction of knowledge, both conceptually and attitudinally. The topics of propaganda and propaganda posters prove especially useful for developing an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach to History teaching.

Summary
The object of this study focuses on analysing online sexual and controlling forms of violence among adolescent intimate relationships and identifying educational guidelines from a gender perspective, with the aim of contributing to their prevention. In order to address this objective, the PRISMA protocol was employed to identify research articles that explored manifestations of online sexual violence, controlling dynamics and digital violence in the dating relationships of Spanish adolescents, published between 2014 and 2024. Specifically, this paper presents the report of a systematic review of 24 studies. The main findings reveal a progressive increase in the prevalence of cyberviolence in adolescent intimate relationships, with a marked pattern of bidirectionality between girls and boys. The analysis points to cibercontrol as the most frequent form, while online sexual violence appears to be the least widespread. Nevertheless, the trend observed in the literature indicates gender differences about online sexual violence, whereby boys predominantly appear as perpetrators and girls as the most affected. In addition, the presence of profiles of poly-aggression and poly-victimisation is confirmed, as well as a positive correlation between online and offline violence. Variables positively associated with the perpetration of digital violence were identified, such as hostile sexism, myths of romantic love, jealousy or sexting, while family and school may function as protective factors. Finally, the scarcity of specific educational proposals is highlighted, underlining the need to develop comprehensive affective-sexual education programmes from a feminist pedagogical approach that necessarily involve the entire educational community.

Summary
This work presents a field study focused on the attention to students with Special Educational Needs and on the training of Secondary Education teachers to address this diversity. Inclusive education constitutes a key challenge in the educational field, and teacher preparation is essential to ensure the participation and learning of all students. The study analyzes the perception of the Guidance Departments regarding teacher training in attention to diversity in Compulsory Secondary Education, based on interviews conducted with guidance counselors from ten schools in the province of Ourense. The results show that initial teacher training is insufficient and not very practical, while continuing training is uneven and depends on personal initiative. The most commonly used inclusive strategies include curricular adaptations, cooperative methodologies, and flexibility of time and space, whose effectiveness depends on interprofessional coordination and the support of guidance teams. Furthermore, there is a perceived shortage of human, material, and organizational resources, which limits individualized attention and the systematic implementation of inclusive practices. In this regard, educational guidance plays a key role in advising teachers, coordinating the educational response, and promoting inclusive practices tailored to students’ needs

Summary
The classical languages curriculum is largely based on our classical past, both Greek and Roman. The most studied authors are those from the literary canon that has been passed down to us since the Middle Ages, such as Plato, Xenophon, Virgil, Cicero, etc. However, this canon is not necessarily the most suitable for beginning to learn classical languages, and it is certainly not the only one. A much-debated alternative is to use medieval literature, as its nature is closer to our modern languages and probably easier to understand. Combining this criterion with that of locality, we aim to create original teaching material using the Historia Compostellana, a medieval chronicle written by the first Archbishop of Santiago: Diego Xelmírez. This material will consist of an anthology of texts from the work, with educational appendices and adaptations where necessary. Latin literature is not limited to the classical period, but we must take advantage of the resources available in our Galician Latin heritage, creating an original curriculum that conveys the relationship between our area and the Latin world, a relationship that is often overlooked.
